Judy McCracken - CEO
Judy is a retired administrator of public school special education programs for children with special needs in Lake and Geauga Counties, Ohio. In addition to her role as President and CEO of REIKI RAYS, she is the President of the McCracken Wellness Center, from which she conducts REIKI classes and offers individual REIKI treatments. Judy is a Karuna REIKI Master teacher and has been serving in the healing arts for 20 years.

Mary Ellen Lucas - Director of Operations
Mary Ellen brings a rich and varied background to the organization. She spent her early work life in the business world where she was responsible for fiscal and operational procedures. In 1999, she began developing a private practice in the healing arts, culminating in a full-time career. Besides Reiki, Mary Ellen is adept at several other energy modalities that are based on heart-centered awareness with the goal of developing intuition to maintain a balanced, grounded life. She is the operations manager of Reiki Rays.

Arlene Fine - Board Member
Arlene has worked in the communications field for over twenty years. She is a journalist for a weekly publication and has served as the community relations director for several nursing homes in Northeast Ohio. Arlene is dedicated to the practice of Reiki and has used her professional contacts and networking skills to bring Reiki to the widest possible audience.

Gherardo is a Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives at the Cleveland Clinic Health System. He is an energetic strategic human capital leader, and portfolio and program/projects manager, with broad industry experience (healthcare, service, Big 4 professional services, academic, hospitality & tourism). His proven track record of developing and delivering innovative solutions aligned with the strategies and long-term interests of the organization drives effective individual, team, group, departmental, divisional, and organizational performance transformation and business improvement. His passions include empowering and supporting caregivers, heart-based living, creativity and innovation, vision, wisdom, servant leadership and stewardship, organizational effectiveness, strategic integrated human capital management, and infinite possibilities. He is deeply committed to integrative medicine, including Reiki, Lomilomi, and other modalities of healing that transform individuals, teams, groups, organizations and communities.
Sean Shacklett, MPA - Board Member
Sean is the Executive Director of the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (NACC), a membership association comprised of academic centers or programs at accredited colleges and universities that focus on the study of nonprofit organizations, voluntarism and/or philanthropy. Established in 1991, NACC is the first group entirely dedicated to the promotion and networking of centers that provide research and education in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. Housed at the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations on the campus of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, NACC is an international organization whose mission is to support academic centers devoted to the study of the nonprofit/nongovernmental sector, philanthropy and voluntary action to advance education, research and practice that increases the nonprofit sector’s ability to enhance civic engagement, democracy and human welfare. He was previously the Program Director for the Alzheimer’s Association, Cleveland Area Chapter, where he was liaison with REIKI RAYS for their caregiver projects. Prior to his service with the Alzheimer’s Association, Sean served as the Senior Administrative Officer for the Cuyahoga County Department of Senior and Adult Services. He is currently a fellow in “Ladder to Leadership: Developing the Next Generation of Community Health Leaders”, a joint collaborative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Cleveland Foundation and the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina. He participated in the 2006-2007 Community Wealth Ventures Collaborative in Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate of the 2000-2001 Cleveland State University Leadership Academy Fellowship. He has a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Akron.
