This 53 page manual is divided into three sections for REIKI ONE LEVEL instruction for caregivers.

Section 1
Standard Reiki curriculum content which contains basic information about Reiki, including Reiki history, beaming, self-treatments, chakras, resources and more.

Section 2
User friendly pictorial sections accompany written explanations of Reiki hand positions and routines which includes different settings: demonstration of a full body treatment on a massage table; adaptation of hand positions for use on hospital beds, beds at home and in nursing home settings; full body treatments in a chair or wheelchair. These “cheat sheets” match visual demonstrations from the DVD entitled INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDE FOR REIKI HAND POSITIONS. Each section can be used independently or used along with the DVD.

Section 3
A special section for caregivers emphasizes and encourages essential self-nurturing principles. The value of integration of REIKI into daily life is highlighted along with reminders of the need for their own self-care to have the necessary strength to carry on with stressful caregiver duties.
